History of Becoming a Country
In Kazakhstan's early history they were mainly a nomadic nation. Today there are still many nomads throughout the country, however not to the extent that it was in the early years. During this time the Huns were occupying this area led by Attila the Hun. During their rule the majority of the economy was nomadic but they also started to become more urbanized because of its prime location for trade throughout the areas. It was a central country throughout the silk road allowing many outside influences to impact the culture. The Silk Road also developed scientific and cultural discoveries. A discovery from this time that was developed was the yurt with is a diamond shaped tent that helped them adapt with their nomadic lifestyle.
After this time the Chinese and the Kazakhs fell into a large, long tribal war. When it ended they struggled to recover their military. This allowed Russia to come in and take over relatively easy. They continued to be under Russian rule and was under the influence of the Russians and their government The revolution in 1917 Russia Communist rule took over Kazakhstan which impacted their development of their beliefs and culture when they gained their independence.
